And, just so you know, MOST of us mothers have felt all of the things you have described at one point or another in our job as a mom. I think I'm finally starting to "get it" a little more. There's something that changes when your 4 1/2 year-old suddenly starts having "big kid" thoughts and ideas, and while your 2 year-old tries to mimic everything his older brother does, and your 8 month-old laughs at them both. Motherhood is such a beautiful, yet challenging calling, that brings out the best, and sometimes the worst, in all of us. And, I wouldn't trade it for the world!craigslisterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07643443225165259694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4086475476686579822.post-28564849908257798922010-06-15T20:35:13.835-07:002010-06-15T20:35:13.835-07:00I am touched. The great thing about motherhood is ...I am touched. The great thing about motherhood is that it just keeps getting sweeter. The unspoken appreciation comes as children grow and start experiencing life on their own and their "eyes are opened" to the blessing of having a mother that wanted to be there at home with them to make sure they received the kind of love only their mom can give them. As they grow they become these beautiful people and you think, "how is it that they became so beautiful hanging around me?" As you have mentioned to me often, "whom the Lord calls He qualifies." Happy is the day when you look around you and find that all your best friends, you have known since the day you conceived them. Way to go my daughter/friend.Suzi Hardyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04541850489660308635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4086475476686579822.post-45249646972051700422010-06-11T17:12:17.125-07:002010-06-11T17:12:17.125-07:00I love reading your writing. Motherhood IS generally thankless but when a little voice says 'good breakfast mommy' it makes up for all the unnoticed 'work' we do to keep a home in order. The pure JOY that come from being a Mommy is the best kept secret you can't unlock unless you become a Mommy.

Good luck with the gophers. :)Mariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11775239375806387936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4086475476686579822.post-85616528187789401052010-06-11T10:11:09.210-07:002010-06-11T10:11:09.210-07:00i have nothing fabulous to say...just that this wa...i have nothing fabulous to say...just that this was something i NEEDED to read. thanks erin!Evelyn @ Hanging by a Silver Lininghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17331576808981094591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4086475476686579822.post-34287012675820430462010-06-10T07:23:00.622-07:002010-06-10T07:23:00.622-07:00Amen, and amen!
